It’s official – I have the BEST job on the planet!  It was like a dream come true to have the opportunity to photograph newborn twins – a boy & a girl!  Aren’t they just as sweet as can be?!  Scroll down to see my favorites…

This is why I LOVE being a newborn photographer!  I have the chance to meet and photograph gorgeous brand new babies almost every week!  Here’s just a little sneak peek of baby Riley.  She was sooooo sweet!  I’ll post more favorites from her session once the birth announcements are sent out.  :)

I traveled over to the bay area for little S.’s session and it was TOTALLY worth the two hour drive to get to photograph this little beauty!  When her mommy brought out a knit bonnet that her own grandmother had made for her when she was a baby… I flipped!  It was so adorable!  And I LOVE it when clients request to use sentimental items in their session.  Here are a bunch of favorites…

I photographed sweet little Violet almost two months ago… yeah, I’m a little behind on blogging!  But I’m trying to catch up!  If you follow Susanne Ashby Photography on Facebook, you’ll catch more of the sneak peeks:)   She was just as sweet as can be and had such beautiful skin.  I usually spend quite a bit of time in photoshop fixing newborn skin, since they tend to have lots of red spots and dry patches, but Violet had the most perfect, gorgeous skin!  It was easy peasy editing her pictures!  Anyway, on to some of my favorites from her session…

Baby B. {Monterey Newborn Photographer}

Posted on February 15, 2011

I had the chance to photograph my good friend, Morgan Werner’s, adorable baby boy last month (yeah… I’m a little behind on blogging!).  She drove all the way from Monterey to get pictures, and I am SO glad she did because we had a blast!  Plus, little B. is one of the cutest babies I have EVER seen!!  AND Morgan knits, so she brought some cute, cute, CUTE hats to use for the session!  Here are a bunch of favorites…

With 15% of the votes, the winner is…  NUMBER 12!!!

I have to say, when I arrived at this session and his mommy pulled out this completely adorable hat for me to use, I was ecstatic!  I am a total sucker for adorable knits and then to get to photograph little M. (who is just the cutest, wouldn’t you say?).  *Sigh.*  I was in heaven!  Congrats, H.!  Can’t wait to send you the canvas!!

Baby K. {Roseville Newborn Photographer}

Posted on January 17, 2011

I had the pleasure of photographing baby K. a few days ago at just one week old.  He was such a sweet little guy!  The weather outside was really gloomy and I was a little worried that we wouldn’t have enough light, but luckily, it was just bright enough in their home to do the session (yay for sliding glass doors!!).  Here are a few, of my MANY favorites, from the session…

I have been meaning to share pictures of the albums that I sell for quite some time.  I completely adore the fine art album!  Pictures do not do it justice (plus, it doesn’t help that I am definitely NOT a product photographer!).  Here are a few pictures of an album I designed for a newborn client recently.  It was like Christmas morning when this came in the mail and I was completely giddy to show it to my clients!!
