This week I have felt a deep sadness. Many of you have heard the stories coming in about CHP officer Nathan Taylor who was killed this weekend in a tragic accident, while on duty. I first met him and his wife a little over 12 years ago when we were all newlyweds. We became close friends with them and even spent many Sunday dinners at Nathan’s parents house. He and my husband quickly became the best of friends… we always knew we could count on him at a moments notice, for literally anything. Yesterday, we wanted to show our love for him and his family, by watching the procession. If you have heard the heroic and kind stories about him on the news and social media, I can assure you that they’re all true. He was an amazing man and definitely inspires me to look for more ways to serve others.
