‘Impressions‘ is a creative project by an eclectic group of female photographers from around the globe. We aim to share the inspiration behind what we do through our monthly posts.
On the 8th of each month, we will be sharing 8 images that tell the story of what inspired us in the previous weeks: our families, nature, weather, or maybe even work itself! We are free to explore the meaning of ‘impressions’, and it is likely to change month to month. (Don’t forget to follow the link at the end to continue the blog circle!)
This month we decided to postpone our blog circle so that more of us could participate! I love having the chance to share some personal images, so here are a few from September & October…
First up is our trip to Disneyland in September. Disneyland was celebrating their 60th anniversary this year, so the night time parade and fireworks show were the best I’ve ever seen at Dland! We are total Disney fanatics at our house and buy season passes every other year. This was a season pass year, so our September trip was our third and final trip of the year. We always travel with my sister’s family when we visit Disneyland and our kids absolutely LOVE sharing these memories with their cousins!
A mid ride selfie on my favorite ride (Big Thunder Mountain) has become a tradition!October happens to be my favorite month of the year… We celebrate mine and my husband’s birthdays and I LOVE visiting the pumpkin patch, eating lots of soup, enjoying cooler temps, and throwing a Halloween party for the kids. This year we visited Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm with some dear friends of ours. Bishop’s is seriously the best pumpkin farm ever and we are lucky to live nearby! Here’s my little with her BFF…Our family out at the patch…My nine year old played his first season of flag football this Fall and a lot of our Saturdays looked like this…If you know me at all, you’ll know that I am obsessed with parties. We do a Halloween party every year for our kids and their friends. It’s always super crazy with a TON of kids, but its worth it because of how much fun we have. This year we decided on a pirate theme. All the kids came dressed as pirates; we had a treasure hunt and a super fun relay race! Here are my three little pirates on Halloween, all ready to go trick-or-treating!Now continue our blog circle by visiting super talented Denver Family Photographer, Kim of Brink Street Photography!
