Impressions from March: a personal project

‘Impressions‘ is a creative project by an eclectic group of female photographers from around the globe. We aim to share the inspiration behind what we do through our monthly posts.

On the 8th of each month, we will be sharing 8 images that tell the story of what inspired us in the previous weeks: our families, nature, weather, or maybe even work itself! We are free to explore the meaning of ‘impressions’, and it is likely to change month to month.

For April, I thought I’d share some pictures I took during our spring break trip to Washington and Oregon a couple of weeks ago!  This first image was taken at a newborn workshop I attended, which was hosted by Salem newborn photographer Katie Anderson.  It was an amazing workshop and I learned so much!  These next few were taken while exploring the beautiful Columbia River Gorge…  This was taken at the EMP Museum in Seattle…  Our family had a blast exploring Seattle, which is something I hadn’t done since I was in high school!Headed to Pike Place Market…This last one was taken at the Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon.  Highly recommend if you’re driving through the area!  This giraffe walked right next to our car (all we could see were his legs!) just a few minutes after this picture was taken!  We also saw some adorable baby cheetahs playing, fed Emus right from our car window, and saw tons of animals up close.  We can’t wait to visit again!Now visit Vinita’s blog of Vinita Salome Photography to continue the blog circle!
