Thought I would share a handful of favorite images I shot on film at this recent Sacramento Temple LDS wedding. These two were just the sweetest and we were blessed with the most gorgeous weather on their wedding day! So lucky since it was pretty rainy leading up to their big day!

I can’t believe I forgot to share this sweet, GORGEOUS wedding from last Fall! These two were so wonderful and gracious to work with… their ceremony made me cry because it was so beautiful! And we had the most AMAZING sunset during their portraits. I’m so lucky to get to share such beautiful moments with my clients!

Shooting film (old school style) just makes me so happy! I love how the colors turned out on this wedding, photographed on Kodak Portra 800. Also, these two were pretty dang awesome to work with! I adore both of them (and her amazing bouquet, complete with my favorite flowers!).

Marie & Leo’s wedding at the Chateau de la Perriere in the French Countryside was nothing short of amazing! I don’t even know where to begin… This really was a dream come true for me to travel to France to photograph a wedding! I was even more honored because the wedding couple is so very sweet and simply perfect for each other! We started the morning at Marie’s family home in Angers (pronounced on-jay). Different parts of their home were built in the 16th, 17th, and 18th century, so I had a lot of fun photographing Marie’s wedding details around her home! We did the first look in front of the oldest part of their house. Then off to the chateau for some wedding portraits! Their wedding ceremony was inside what the U.S. would consider a city hall… which is required for all French weddings. Then back to the chateau for their wedding reception, which went until 4 am! It was a whirlwind day and I still can’t believe I got to be there for this! Here are all my favorites from the day…

I’ve been regularly adding a roll or two of medium format film to every photo shoot and wedding recently and I am just LOVING the results! Had to share a handful of favorites from this gorgeous Winter wedding I photographed at the LDS Sacramento temple in December. Aren’t they just the most adorable couple ever!? Also, her bouquet is so swoon worthy!

Allyson & Cortlen | Wedding

I met these two before they were engaged and was so pleased when they asked me to photograph their wedding. It was just as spectacular as I imagined it would be! We started at the Hyatt Highlands for their ceremony and then spent time along the Monterey penninsula for their wedding portraits. We ended the evening at the lovely Carmel Valley Rancho Canada Golf Club. I’m so grateful for clients like these that become true friends!

Taber Ranch Northern California Wedding Photographer

I’m sure I’ve said this many times before but Taber Ranch has to be one of my all time favorite wedding venues! For this wedding, the timeline worked out perfectly… they opted to do a first look and some of their portraits before the ceremony which worked out AMAZING!! We also finished the majority of the family pictures and bridal party portraits before the ceremony. It made for a very stress free day for all. I was pleased that we had time to take pictures in the olive grove (SO pretty!) as well as the hill with their iconic red car and oak tree. My favorite!

Woodland, California has some seriously gorgeous wedding venues! I adore Windmill Farm & Vineyards and I was super sad to hear that they’re no longer offering weddings after this year. I’m so glad I had a chance to shoot there one last time! Katy & Tyler’s wedding day was perfection… the weather, the sweet family and guests, everything! I had a fun time working with them and sharing in their special day. So many favorites from there wedding!

I’ve been meaning to share this sweet wedding for a while now, but I admit I’ve let other things get in the way of blogging! Chelsie & Dylan were a super sweet couple that I first met during their bridal portraits at the Davis Arboretum. Their wedding day was, of course, lovely and I had a super fun time working with them. I especially love all the PINK (my favorite color!!) and her flowers, which were gorgeous!
