My dear friend (and amazing senior portrait photographer), Morgan, had the most darling baby this past fall. You may remember Morgan’s lovely maternity session HERE. She invited me to attend and take pictures at the birth, which was SUCH an honor and just an amazing experience! I was excited to head over to Morgan’s house when cute little Freya was five days old, so we could take some newborn pictures. Here are a handful of favorites from the session!

It’s no secret that I LOVE my job. I have the opportunity to meet sweet couples who are madly in love, photograph their beautiful wedding day, and if I’m extra lucky, they’ll invite me to photograph their family as it grows. I photographed Kris & Katie’s wedding back in 2013 at the gorgeous Inn at Park Winters (one of my all time favorite wedding venues!). I’ve since photographed their maternity and newborn pictures for their two sons and I feel so honored to get to be a part of their lives in this way! Here’s a little sneak peek from yesterday’s newborn session with darling six day old baby R.

My dear friend (and amazingly talented senior portrait photographer!), Morgan, gave birth to a darling baby girl recently. I had the opportunity to be there to photograph the birth and then came back the next day for a “fresh 48” lifestyle session in the hospital with her cute little family. I love having the chance to do sessions that aren’t the norm for me… it feeds my soul to do this kind of stuff and I had tons of fun getting my baby fix! Here are a handful of favorite images from the day…

You may remember Katie and Kris from their Inn at Park Winters wedding I photographed last spring! I was thrilled when Katie contacted me because they were expecting their first baby! We did their photo shoot at their home earlier this week and it was so fun hanging out with them and meeting baby C. He is SO CUTE!! He was very alert for the first two and a half hours, so we took some lifestyle family portraits in the nursery (which is absolutely DARLING!) and a few in the master bedroom. He finally went to sleep and slept so well that we were able to breeze through the rest of the session in a very short time. Congratulations to Katie and Kris! Here’s a little sneak peek…

I had the pleasure of photographing baby A. on Thursday and he was an absolute dream to photograph! I didn’t hear him cry or complain even once. We got so many cute pictures that I had the hardest time choosing a few to post here for a sneak peek. Here are *some* of my favorites…
