I love working with this fellow photographer momma and was flattered that she asked me (for the second time!) to take maternity pictures for her family. They are just the cutest and we had a blast exploring the redwood grove at the Davis Arboretum for their session. So excited for their growing family!

I adore maternity sessions and I adore this family, who I’ve been working with for over five years! I was there to photograph the birth and then the newborn pictures, but I wanted to share her maternity pictures on here, first! We had so much fun at her session and the light was sooooooo dreamy. You may remember Amy & Andy from when I shot their gorgeous Auburn, CA wedding last spring at the lovely Hidden Creek Farms venue. Now their expecting their first baby boy this summer! Super excited for this sweet couple. They decided to come out to Monterey for a little “babymoon” last weekend and contacted me to do their maternity session. I always have a blast with these two so I was really excited to meet up with them again. We started in downtown Carmel and then ended the session at the beach. Can’t wait to meet their little boy in August! Here’s a little sneak peek of some favorite pictures from their photo shoot…

I first met Megan & Jon back in 2011 when I was getting ready to photograph their wedding day. They were such a fun couple (any girl that will happily walk next to the ocean in her wedding dress and do any pose I request earns major brownie points with me!). I had a blast on their big day! Now they’re expecting their first baby, so they asked if we could head back to downtown Carmel and go to the same spots where we did some of their wedding portraits. I couldn’t be happier to oblige! We ended the shoot at my favorite beach in Carmel. Isn’t Megan SUCH a gorgeous mama-to-be?!
