Tia’s Bridal Session {Montage Laguna Beach Wedding Portraits}
Posted on March 15, 2013
I had so much fun shooting Tia…Tom’s wedding last weekend at the Newport Beach LDS temple. We did a bridal session at the Montage Laguna Beach a couple days before the wedding, with a “first look” at the end to capture Tom’s reaction of seeing Tia in her beautiful wedding gown before the big day. The Montage is a gorgeous location and I was so relieved that it didn’t end up raining, like the weather had predicted! Here are a handful of favorites from the bridal session… more coming soon from their beautiful wedding day!

Tiffany & Justin {Carmel Wedding Photographer}

A little over a month ago, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a wedding workshop with one of my absolute favorite photographers, Jasmine Star. It was one hundred percent worth the time and money spent to attend. I learned so much from Jasmine and her awesome husband, JD, and have been reeling from the experience ever since! AND I had tons of fun meeting the other amazing wedding photographers who attended the workshop, too! The highlight of the day was getting to see Jasmine direct the one hour photo shoot. I LOVED watching Jasmine in action – no wonder her couples always look like they’re having tons of fun! Modeling for us were fellow photographer Tiffany Jahangiri and her husband, Justin. They were so easy to work with – total naturals in front of the camera! I wanted to share some of my favorite images from the workshop. I can hardly wait to see what the new year will bring for my business and I’m looking forward to working with some amazing wedding couples in 2013!

Dave & Rebecca {Monterey & Carmel Wedding Photographer}

Dave and Rebecca are such an amazing couple! I had a super fun time last month photographing their nautical themed wedding. LOVED the yellow and navy blue color scheme and her gorrrrrrrgeous flowers! And her dress! Sigh. See for yourself…

Amanda & Lo {Livermore & Ravenwood Park Wedding Photography}

I had the wonderful opportunity to capture a beautiful backyard wedding in Livermore two weeks ago. Amanda & Lo are such a great couple and the whole day was very relaxed and casual. Despite the heat (I’m so spoiled now, living in perpetual 65 degree weather here in Monterey!), it was an amazing day! Here are a bunch of favorites… lots of fun details!

Kimberlee & Matthew {Viaggio Styled Wedding Photography}
Posted on September 14, 2012
I am SO excited to finally share these images, taken at the Tori Wible workshop I attended back in July. The theme was “Come Away with Me” and I was super excited to hear that a hot air balloon would be involved! These images are from day two (day one posted HERE). The workshop took place at the gorgeous Viaggio Winery in Lodi, CA.
Amy Bangs of Queen B styled the shoot… she did such an amazing job! I was drooling over all the delicious vintage details (I highly recommend her, if you’re planning your own vintage inspired wedding!)
I LOVED the heart backed chairs!
Adorable frames from Rustic Poppy…
I was lovin’ the trolley car! Perfect spot for dress pictures, right?

Then we began the “getting ready” shots…
And of course, some of the groom, too!
This one’s my favorite of the groom shots… black and white isn’t always my first choice, but I thought it fit perfectly for this shot!
The first look… I love it when my wedding couples choose this option!
The super cute flower girls! I adore that swing at the Viaggio!
Kimberlee’s face in this shot was just awesome!
Row boats are soooooooo romantic! Don’t you think?

And last, but not least, the “leaving the reception” outfits (I adore her vintage lace shorts!!!)…
Annie & Lance {Oakland LDS temple wedding photographer}
Posted on August 12, 2012
Annie and Lance were married yesterday at the Oakland LDS temple and I was so excited to be a part of it! I completely adored Annie’s vintage dress, worn by her own mother on her wedding day! And the flowers were sooooo beautiful, too! I second shot these for Maria Duncan photography. Check out my favorites…

I could NOT get enough of her beautiful bouquet!
Maren & Sam {Oakland LDS Temple Wedding Photographer}
Posted on July 10, 2012
Maren and Sam were married at the Oakland LDS temple on a beautiful day in June. They are such a sweet couple… SO in love! And I had a great time photographing their big day.
I arrived at the temple a bit early and was able to capture some images of the gorgeous temple grounds. I know that most people wouldn’t think overcast weather is ideal, but for a photographer, I was thrilled that the harsh sun wasn’t out just yet!
The wedding party was so much fun! These guys were cracking me up…
Maren looked gorrrrrrrgeous on her wedding day…
I was so happy we had some extra time before heading to the reception, so we drove down the street for some pictures at a different location, once the temple grounds became crowded…
And one last one of my favorite ring shot, taken at the reception!
