I had the pleasure of photographing baby A. on Thursday and he was an absolute dream to photograph! I didn’t hear him cry or complain even once. We got so many cute pictures that I had the hardest time choosing a few to post here for a sneak peek. Here are *some* of my favorites… ;)

I traveled over to Rocklin for my new neice, Ashlyn’s, newborn portraits last month.  I could hardly wait to meet her and was so happy to have a very good excuse for a visit to Sacramento!  She is the youngest of FOUR girls, so she’s sure to be the princess of the house.  It was darling to see her big sister’s doting on her.  There is so much love in their family!  Here are a bunch of my favorites from the session…

I couln’t resist sharing a few more from Madeline’s newborn session I did in Sacramento.  I love too many of them not to share!  I was especially excited to hear that Madeline’s mom wanted a few pictures in the nursery (which was decorated SO cute!!).  Those are probably some of my absolute favorite from the session!

I was thrilled to have a chance to photograph my brand new neice, Zoe, at just one week old.  She was a complete DREAM to photograph… it was probably one of the easiest newborn sessions I have EVER had!  So of course, it was tons of fun to get to snuggle my new little niece and take some pictures while I was at it!  Here are some of my favorites…

I had a great time in Sacramento this week for baby M.’s newborn session.  She was so full of smiles!  Typically, I’m lucky to catch even one smiling picture, but with her session, she was smiling left and right!  Here are three favorites for a little sneak peek…

It was SUCH a treat to travel from Monterey over to Rocklin to photograph newborn twins, Lincoln and Isla!  They could not possibly be any cuter and I had such a fun time at their session (truly, I love photographing newborns!!!).  At just barely a week old, they were super sleepy and the session went amazingly well.  They were born just three days before Christmas, so I had to work the santa hat in there, too… I’ve got a TON of favorites, so here’s a little picture overload for ya!Gotta love a smiley newborn!  Check out the dimple… I’m a total sucker for dimples!!!

I love making New Year’s resolutions!  There’s something about starting fresh on January 1st that makes me feel excited about the upcoming year and all its possibilities.  Let’s face it… I’ve failed miserably at blogging this past year.  By looking at my blog, you’d never know that I did so many fun sessions and weddings in 2011!  I shared quite a bit on my Susanne Ashby Photography Facebook page, and left the blog sorely neglected.  Well, it’s time to start fresh!  Here’s to more pictures in the New Year!

First up are a few more from little T.’s session.  I adore his sweet family and was happy to travel over to Sacramento for his newborn pictures!   Here are my favorites…

Baby T. {Monterey Newborn Photographer}

I photographed baby T.’s big brother last year (20 months ago, to be exact!) and I was thrilled to hear that my clients were expecting another boy.  You know how I ADORE photographing newborns, so I made a special little trip over to Sacramento this week for T.’s newborn session.  Isn’t he so darling?!  Here’s just a tiny sneak peek… more to come later!
