Johnna ~ Class of 2011 {Roseville Senior Portrait Photographer}
Posted on August 13, 2010
Johnna and I had such a fun time last night at her senior portrait session! AND I learned that I’m not allowed to shoot at the train yard in old Roseville. (oops!) Learned that the hard way and sort of got in trouble… My husband said that I should start a blog dedicated to all the times I get in trouble at photo shoots. Ha! (And hey, this is only the second time… I wonder if he expects it to happen more?) But it was definitely worth it this time, because my favorite image from the session was taken at the train yard. Scroll down to see…

THIS ONE! Isn’t she just gorgeous?! New. Favorite. Picture. Just sayin’.

And then we finished the session at just the right time when the sun was golden. LOVED IT!!!

Brandi and I had tons of fun exploring old Sacramento a couple of weeks ago. I’ve never done a session there before, and I was so happy to discover that there are TONS of cool spots within a one block radius! I’ll definitely be heading back there for more sessions in the future! Brandi is going to be my senior spokesmodel for Whitney High School, and I am SO excited to work with her this year! She is a total natural in front of the camera and absolutely gorgeous, too!! Here are my favorites from her session…

I had a blast photographing Marissa recently! She helped teach my kids swim lessons this summer and they absolutely adore her (and so do I!). So when she told me she was interested in being a senior spokesmodel for me, I was super excited to get to work with her. We headed up to Folsom for her session, and I had a chance to explore some new areas that I’ve never used for a photo shoot before. Here are some favorites from her session…

Dana ~ class of 2011 {Rocklin Senior Photography}
Posted on July 2, 2010
It’s official — I’m venturing into new territory! This week I had my first two sessions with high school seniors, and I have to say, it may be my new favorite! I had so much fun going out with Dana on Monday night, for her senior portraits. She is going to be one of my senior spokesmodels this year, so she’ll be earning some great rewards by spreading the word to her friends about Susanne Ashby Photography. If you happen to know (or are!) a high school senior in the Sacramento area, who may be interested in being a senior spokesmodel for me, shoot me an e-mail! Now on to some favorites from Dana’s session…
