New Year’s Resolution #7: Share more pictures {Sacramento Newborn Photographer}

I love making New Year’s resolutions! There’s something about starting fresh on January 1st that makes me feel excited about the upcoming year and all its possibilities. Let’s face it… I’ve failed miserably at blogging this past year. By looking at my blog, you’d never know that I did so many fun sessions and weddings in 2011! I shared quite a bit on my Susanne Ashby Photography Facebook page, and left the blog sorely neglected. Well, it’s time to start fresh! Here’s to more pictures in the New Year!

I photographed baby T.’s big brother last year (20 months ago, to be exact!) and I was thrilled to hear that my clients were expecting another boy. You know how I ADORE photographing newborns, so I made a special little trip over to Sacramento this week for T.’s newborn session. Isn’t he so darling?! Remember this adorable newborn from last year? I can hardly believe he is already ONE! I was so excited that his family traveled all the way out to Monterey for a session! We headed down to my favorite spot in Carmel and had a great time. Here’s just a little sneak peek for now…

I traveled over to the bay area for little S.’s session and it was TOTALLY worth the two hour drive to get to photograph this little beauty! When her mommy brought out a knit bonnet that her own grandmother had made for her when she was a baby… I flipped! It was so adorable! And I LOVE it when clients request to use sentimental items in their session. Here are a bunch of favorites…

Remember little miss A. from last August? I LOVED how her newborn pictures turned out and now she’s already six months old! I can hardly believe it! So I was super excited when her mommy mentioned getting some six month pictures along with pictures of her three other adorable kiddos! We went to one of my favorite fields for the session (which happens to have long grass with pretty white flowers at the moment – loved it!). Here are a few favorites…
