Last week I spent the most wonderful vacation in Napa with my husband, for our 14th wedding anniversary. I’ve been to Napa many times to photograph weddings, but had never visited just for fun. I’m so glad we decided on Napa as our destination for this year’s anniversary trip. It is one of the most beautiful spots in California, and with all the trees and mustard seed blooming this time of year, it was absolutely gorgeous! The weather could not have been more perfect and we had such a fabulous time going on hikes, trying out the amazing restaurants Napa has to offer (I don’t think I’ve eaten such amazing food in my LIFE!!), and exploring the vineyards and downtown areas. I feel like these little getaways with my sweetheart are not only fun, but absolutely essential for our marriage. I always come home feeling refreshed and recharged. Our marriage has been strengthened and I’m even more happy to be the best wife and mother I can be. Highly recommend doing a yearly trip (at the least!) with your spouse. Anyway, on to some favorite pictures…
The lovely flowers growing among all the vineyards…Bistro Jeany, where I had the most wonderful Creme Brulee EVER! The tomato soup was also quite tasty!
Flowers and lovely green hills EVERYWHERE!
Castillo De Amoroso has been on my wish list for quite some time… I’ve seen so many pictures of this darling little castle/winery and was excited to have the chance to check it out. Would LOVE to go back for an engagement session some time!Last but not least, our view from the last day. Taken at Auberge Du Soleil where we had a delicious lunch! It was so peaceful and beautiful up on the hillside… I’d love to visit again!
