Andrea & Payden were married on a gorgeous summer day at the Oakland temple. The day could not have been more beautiful and these two are just so darling together that I had a blast spending the day with them! Their wedding was full of Pinterest quality DIY details (that I’ll be tucking away for when my kids get married someday!). My favorite unique idea was the tailgate party they threw for lunch at the temple after we were finished doing the group pictures. Typically when I shoot a Mormon temple wedding, we do portraits through the lunch hour and then the bride & groom (and of course ME) have gotten to the point of starvation mode! So when the groom let me know that they had lunch waiting for all of us, I pretty much did a happy dance! And then I saw the cute tailgate party that they had set up, complete with decorations and adorably packed lunches… It was perfect! So we sat outside by the fountain and had lunch and then it was back to work with wedding portraits. My favorite temple wedding yet! 😉
