Last weekend, I had a blast photographing the O. family down at the state capitol park.  Even though it was over 100° outside, I think it was worth it to capture these fun pictures of their family.  And don’t their children have the most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen?  Thank you, O. family, for a wonderful afternoon!

My good friend, L., asked me earlier this week if I had time to do a little mini photo shoot of her kids so that she could surprise her hubby for Father’s day.  We had so much fun, and even though her kids were running around and having fun (there was lots of bribing going on!) we still got quite a few cute pictures.  Here are some favorites…

 I had tons of fun on Saturday afternoon photographing C. and her cute pregnant belly!   We met up at my new favorite field and then headed over to the older part of Rocklin for some “urban” pictures.  I adore doing maternity sessions!! 

I had so much fun with these three on Saturday afternoon — big cousin F. (5), big brother E. (3), and little sister E. (5 months).  We started out taking pictures inside with little miss E. (who is just about the sweetest little snuggly baby EVER!).  She was quite tired, and made it clear that it was time for her nap, so we moved outside to get some shots of the other two in the backyard.  They were a ball of energy and fun and when we were done photographing them, little E. woke up from her nap so I could snap a few more of her.  SO many cute ones from this session!  Here’s just a little sneak peek… 

I had the pleasure of photographing little K. this morning.  She turned one month old today, and I didn’t think we’d be able to capture any pictures of her sleeping, but we lucked out and she took a short nap while I was there.  Yay!  (We got some cute awake pictures, too!)  Thank you, C. and T., for inviting me over to photograph her.  She is so very precious!!

I had such a great time photographing little miss M. this afternoon!  She was very alert and VERY mellow.  The awake pictures I captured of her are some of my favorite “awake newborn” pictures to date.  Isn’t she such a beautiful baby?
