I photographed little three week old D. on Saturday.  Isn’t he adorable?!  His parents had some awesome props that they wanted to use in the session, including an old dresser that is a family heirloom, as well as a really cool sign that they had custom made.  We had a great time, and even though he wasn’t as sleepy as the typical one week old newborns that I’m used to, we were patient with him and ended up getting some great sleeping shots.  Thank you, L. family, for inviting me into your home to photograph little D.!

Wow!  I had so much fun with these two!  Amber and Dan are just the sweetest couple.  I’ve known Amber for almost seven years and first met her at church.  I was her youth leader back then and now she’s getting married!  I can hardly believe it that so much time has gone by and I could not be more excited to be photographing their wedding in July.  Thank you, Dan & Amber, for a fun afternoon!  Can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures!

I was so delighted when my good friend contacted me recently, letting me know that their family was passing through the area this week and wanted to do a family session.  We’ve known each other since we lived in Monterey (and lucky them, they still live there!!) and I had the privelege of photographing their adorable baby last summer, as a tiny newborn.  I can hardly believe that she’s already nine months old, and just as smiley as can be!  We had a great time stomping through the woods and then headed over to a meadow near my house (which apparently has a lot of prickly weeds that I didn’t know about…  next time I won’t wear flip flops!).  Thank you, P. family!  It was so fun visiting with your beautiful family today!

I had such a great time meeting little T. this morning!  What a little doll!  She started out wide awake, so we captured some great family pictures at the beginning, and then she zonked out for the rest of the session and made my job extra easy.  Thank you, C. family!

I had the pleasure of photographing little Z. this afternoon and he was just as sweet as they get!  His mommy had some awesome props that she wanted to incorporate into the session, including this beautiful rocker.  I love it when parents bring personal items to use in the session!   Thank you, P. family!  It was fun meeting you and your adorable baby boy today!

You may remember THIS maternity session from a few weeks ago.  Well, they just had their baby boy, and he is as darling as can be.  I had a blast photographing him this morning!  He was a perfect little angel.  Thank you, M. family, for a great morning!  I can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures!!

At 19 days old, little K. was a bit older than the newborns that I typically photograph.   Luckily, with a little work, we were able to get some beautiful sleeping images of her.  I’ve known her family for about seven years now.  Her mom and I were pregnant with our first babies at the same time (who are now both in Kindergarten).  And now, after three boys, they finally have their beautiful little girl.  I could not be more thrilled to have the honor of doing her newborn pictures.  Thank you, T.!  I had a wonderful time catching up with you yesterday and photographing your gorgeous baby girl!

I simply fell in love with little Miss L. and her gorgeous full head of blond hair!  Isn’t she just a doll?  And at 10 days old, she was very well behaved (and definitely a huge fan of my space heater!).  Thank you, M. family, for inviting me into your home this weekend to photograph your beautiful angel!

This last picture makes my heart melt!  There’s just something about eskimo kisses…  maybe because my own kids love them so much (and I do, too!).  I just adore how she has her hand on his face.  Candid moments are my favorite!!
