Baby O. turns ONE! {Sacramento Baby Photographer}
Posted on August 31, 2010
I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable little one-year-old on Saturday. Seriously, isn’t she just the cutest? We had so much fun playing and she reminded me A LOT of my own little one-year-old. Including the short attention span! Ha! We had fun taking some pictures in her adorable nursery and then did a little cake smash at the end. So fun! Here are my favorites…

I had the pleasure of meeting my good friend, M.’s, baby girl on Tuesday. This was one of the shortest newborn session I’ve ever done, since she was a perfect little angel and went from one pose to the next. What a little sweetheart! Here are my favorites…

Mona & Ryan’s Bridal Session {Sacramento Wedding Photographer}
Posted on August 23, 2010
I had a blast photographing Mona & Ryan’s wedding last Saturday! But before I share some of those pictures, I thought I should share a few from their bridal session (or should I call it a “groomal session” since Ryan was in most of the pictures, too?). We headed up to the Empire Mine in Grass Valley, and my goodness! Is it ever gorgeous up there! The perfect setting for some formal wedding pictures. Here are some of my favorites…

Johnna ~ Class of 2011 {Roseville Senior Portrait Photographer}
Posted on August 13, 2010
Johnna and I had such a fun time last night at her senior portrait session! AND I learned that I’m not allowed to shoot at the train yard in old Roseville. (oops!) Learned that the hard way and sort of got in trouble… My husband said that I should start a blog dedicated to all the times I get in trouble at photo shoots. Ha! (And hey, this is only the second time… I wonder if he expects it to happen more?) But it was definitely worth it this time, because my favorite image from the session was taken at the train yard. Scroll down to see…

THIS ONE! Isn’t she just gorgeous?! New. Favorite. Picture. Just sayin’.

And then we finished the session at just the right time when the sun was golden. LOVED IT!!!

Remember this adorable couple from way back in March? Well, last weekend they got married!!! They are just the sweetest couple EVER and I had tons of fun photographing their wedding day at the Oakland LDS temple. It was one gorgeous, sunny day and we had tons of fun taking pictures around the temple, as well as a nearby forest. Thanks, Amber & Dan, for allowing me to share this special day with you! Now, on to some favorites from the day…

Brandi and I had tons of fun exploring old Sacramento a couple of weeks ago. I’ve never done a session there before, and I was so happy to discover that there are TONS of cool spots within a one block radius! I’ll definitely be heading back there for more sessions in the future! Brandi is going to be my senior spokesmodel for Whitney High School, and I am SO excited to work with her this year! She is a total natural in front of the camera and absolutely gorgeous, too!! Here are my favorites from her session…

The M. Family {Rocklin Family Photographer}
Posted on July 25, 2010
This weekend, some of our good friends from Washington were driving through on their way home from Lake Tahoe, so they asked if I would do a family session with them. I was SO excited to get to see them, and flattered that they would go out of their way to hire me for a session! It was HOT outside, and the kids were pretty tired from their trip, but they were such troopers and we were still able to get some beautiful pictures of their family. Here are my favorites…

Thanks, E. & P., for stopping through!! It was fun seeing you and we can’t wait to stop by your place next summer when we’re up in Washington!

Marissa ~ Class of 2011 {Rocklin Senior Portraits}
Posted on July 21, 2010
I had a blast photographing Marissa recently! She helped teach my kids swim lessons this summer and they absolutely adore her (and so do I!). So when she told me she was interested in being a senior spokesmodel for me, I was super excited to get to work with her. We headed up to Folsom for her session, and I had a chance to explore some new areas that I’ve never used for a photo shoot before. Here are some favorites from her session…
